Split to rows – Analyse Surveys

In this video, I will show you how to use Power Query to split a column by a delimiter and create new rows for each value. This is useful when you want to analyse survey results that have multiple responses in one cell. Often surveys allow you to select multiple answers for a question. These answers are exported as multiple values separated by commas. Analysing such data is difficult and confusing. Using the method shown here, you can analyse such data easily and quickly.
