Press Alt and click on the Slide Show button on the status bar. A small window appears on the top left corner of the screen and the presentation starts from current slide. And there you have it: Instant preview in just one click. This is a quick way of previewing the current slide and animation without having to run a full screen presentation. Press Escape to stop the quick preview.
