Irritant: Excessive Text selection

I want to select a sentence. Sometimes, instead of the sentence, the entire paragraph is selected. Inside a table, contents of the entire cell are selected. I quickly undo and then try to select the text again, this time with a bit more caution, but alas, the problem still remains. It is inexplicable and frustrating. Here is what you do in such cases.

Irritant: How to forget a Wi-Fi hotspot in Windows 10

We often need to forget a Wi-Fi hotspot or change its properties. This was easily possible by using the right click menu (also called the context menu). With Windows 10, there is no context menu. Frustrating! Here is the solution.

Click on the network icon in taskbar to open the list of connections. At the bottom click Network Settings. Now you see another list of Wi-Fi networks. DO NOT go there. Click on Manage Wi-Fi settings.

Ignore the Wi-Fi Sense settings on top. Scroll down to Manage Known Networks. CLICK (not right click) on the network you want and then finally you see the Forget button.

How to apply numbering when there is false numbering?

Sometimes we get Word document containing a numbered list – but it is actually not proper numbering. It is manually typed 1 <space><space> Text kind of numbering.

How to repair this issue and put proper numbering? Simple. Just select the data and apply Numbering from the Home tab. That’s all – Word is smart enough to understand the problem and solve it. Just ONE CLICK. Did you know that? (BTW, one more click and you can remove all the numbering.)

Some of you must have wasted lot of time REMOVING the existing bad numbering Green with envy
